Re: Cleaning and Maintain Wooden Tea Tray (Cha Hai)
Few months ago I bought really nice tea tray from Michael Vermeij and he has really thorough instructions for maintaining his (or others) wooden works. Hope it helps. “ Care & Food Safety Cleaning Hand-wash your handmade wooden boards after each use with mild soap and warm water. Wipe by hand and al...

Re: What Pu'er Are You Drinking
I started with sheng and couldn't get enough of it for 8 months or so...then I tried some decent shou and this is has been growing on me, to the point where I'm now preferring it to sheng. Although I feel like I'll swing back or at least go back to 50/50 between them. Lately I've been drinking shou...

Re: An Ode to Czech Potters
Thanks to this thread, I have a new teapot. :D I like the construction of it a lot, and it's a nice size. Since my parents are from the Czech Republic, it's nice to have a piece of teaware that I feel a connection to. I haven't felt that with any of my yixing/japanese clay pots. https://www.instagr...

Re: Electric Kettles
Jeffrey McIntosh from Denong Tea made a gooseneck kettle comparison for tea brewing (bonavita vs oxo was Stagg ekg). Maybe someone find it helpful.

Re: Electric Kettles
I got Stagg EKG about a week ago. I really like how precise it is. But it does come with a price as pouring is quite slow. If I measured correctly it needs about 5-6 seconds to fill a 100ml pot. I figure it can become a problem with larger vessels. Otherwise 10/10.

Re: Research Corner: Interesting Journal Articles
I just came across this article. I really like Aeon so I am particularly happy they decided to write about tea.

Re: Shipping Delays on tea
Same! Yeah, me too, waiting for February, March and April EoT club + January order from Farmer Leaf. And I still managed to make a recent order with a bunch of tea and some teaware at EoT. :D Their praise on the newly added aged sheng played a trick on me (fomo) How are you enjoying the EoT Club? I...

Re: What Pu'er Are You Drinking
I also just pulled the trigger and ordered a cake of EoT's recent addition, the 2001 Mengsa Old Tree Tea. Couldn't resist the temptation. Seems like one hell of a deal, if it's half as good a bargain as David makes it seem I hope there's any left to be had once I've had a taste. Anyone else ordered...

Re: Shipping Delays on tea
I’m waiting on the March and April EOT tea club packages and I still get the ‘origin post is preparing shipment’ message from the post office. I tried the 17track site that S_B mentioned and received so e progress information. Still no tea though. Same! Yeah, me too, waiting for February, March and...

I love Yunomi Uji Imperial Cerimonial grade matcha. It is a house matcha by yunomi.life shop. Bought it out of curiosity and it became my regular. Very sweet and creamy. I can only recommend.

Re: An Ode to Czech Potters
Also thank you for sharing the story. Didn’t know Petr used Taiwanese clay on some of his works. I can only imagine how would that work. You don't have to, here's the link with images to the story: http://potsandtea.blogspot.com/2014/09/sun-moon-lake-teapots.html Thnx, I will look into it. Speaking...
