Re: A soft reset to a pot?
The effect of baking soda is not immediate. The pot I reset had been in use for more than three years and it took a bit of scrubbing and changing the baking soda inside a couple of times before it got clean. You could try a gradual reset: small amounts of baking soda and scrubbing for no more than 2...

Re: To Reset My Pots or Not
Having recently reset my yixing after more than three years of use, I can tell you it did wonders for the greener wulongs. Just like entropyembrace I use the teapot for more than one tea. Re: Tetsubin
Figured I'd use this thread instead of opening a new one. I'm in need of an advice because the worst thing since my gaiwan broke has happened: my tetsubin developed a bit of rust both on the inside and outside. I really don't know how, since I haven't used it in a while and I made sure it was comple...

Re: Introduce Yourself
How long have you been drinking tea? I first discovered loose leaf tea when I found out Twining's wasn't just tea bags of English breakfast but Gunpowder as well. I drank my first "real" tea in 2013 when I discovered Grnpung (forum name hidden with rot13 in case it's a tough subject) and the wonder...
