Really similar tasting notes and leaves shape of the one that I received as gift. I think is 43 cultivar but I am not sure.

Re: What Green Are You Drinking
I enjoy Life in a teacup Pre-Qingming Shi Feng Long Jing, fresh and rich tea. I have drunk it a couple of days I go, I posted some pictures on my profile. Do you know the cultivar? The one I had was really good because of the roasting was not too strong, so the it had chestnut aroma but it was also...

Kori Dashi: what is your favourite cold brew Japanese green tea?
I'm pretty new with this method but I like Fukamushi Sencha using 4 or 5g of leaves covered by ice for 2 hours. I get a really strong and umami tea cup without bitterness. And you?

Re: What Green Are You Drinking
I recently discovered a green tea not famous in the west called Shijian from Zhuji, Zhejiang province, China. I had the opportunity to taste it and its shape is similar to Tianmu qingding but the taste is brisk and it reminds me of the second harvest of Guzhu zisun. It's not a new tea but it has a l...

Yaji 雅集 with Tea and Guqin
Some days ago I have organized a Yaji 雅集 with a guqin player in my house. Guqin is a traditional Chinese music instrument; its sound is really deep and peaceful... On my youtube page you can find a short music piece recorded in that day (It's the final part of a famous song called "shuixian cao") ht...

Re: What Green Are You Drinking
luchayi a high altitude tea grown near wild yellow mountain flowers, with a floral chestnut profile, sounds like a perfect way to celebrate the summer solstice 🌞. I am celebrating the arrival of summer with O-cha’s Uji Gyokuro Fujitsubo and Birouen’s Organic Sencha. Both are very smooth and lyrical...

Re: What Green Are You Drinking
This is the best handmade Dinggu dafang that I have ever tried. The same quality not handmade is also great, but the taste and the shape is more similar to a Baicha longjing. This one was a gift from a friend and it was really special. Dafang tea is not famous like longjing but its history is really...

Re: What Black Are You Drinking
I am drinking a Nannuoshan Dian Hong from ancient trees. Some black teas (also great dian hong l had) after 1 year or before start to lose floral or fruity notes and later the taste became more "warm" with the classic cocoa taste. This one is really interesting because fresh was a little bit pungent...

Re: The 2019 Ding Gu Da Fang competition
It was a gift so I don't know the price, but if you buy the best handmade quality fresh just after the harvest you can pay also 80usd 100gr. You can find it more cheaper, but I never had a similar quality from any tea shop. The tea of the competition's winner was sold at asmost 1500usd 100g. For the...

White Peony and Piano notes
When tea notes and piano notes meet each other, something magical happens. Silvia started to improvise with her piano following the rhythm of the Bai mudan infusion; a white tea from Fujian well known as "White Peony".
