Re: What Pu'er Are You Drinking
I am on the same boat as you...my March order from EOT has been stuck in Shanghai since mid May. Sort of lucky. I placed orders in February and they got here before issues. In June I started placing orders again. I had two orders arrive at ISC on the same date, but two different locations. The one ...

Most of mine choices have been lacking. I'm looking to get into Fuzhua. Bitterleaf is supposed to have a new ...

2013 Yi Dian Hong. Third new shou in a week or so. Unfortunately, all three of them have been rather meh. Going to have to go back to a tried and true this afternoon to make sure I'm not losing my appreciation for shou.

Re: How Much Tea Do You Consume Per Day?
I pretty much do one session all day. About 8g in the morning and steep it until it runs out. There are days when I'll do two teas, because the tea doesn't last as many steepings. I typically drink scotch or flavored water in the evenings.

Re: What Pu'er Are You Drinking
Having Temple Stairs for the first time. Going to need to learn to brew this one. It's sort of mild... second mild shou this week. The taste I can pick up on tells me I'd really like it. Tried 6g in 100ml gaiwan. Will try steeping longer next.

Re: Sparkling sencha, sparkling oolong, and other adventures with carbonation and tea
Thanks for the info. I was wondering how you got the tea into the bottle after adding CO2. The instructions on the soda stream says to add the CO2 before the flavoring. Wasn't sure if this was due to keeping the machine clean or a real safety concern. I do know that if you add the syrup flavoring to...

Opening Up Compressed Bricks
Not sure if it was in this forum or elsewhere online that we were having a discussion of compressed bricks and how to encourage them to open. I was going to mention that I do one extra little thing when rinsing the tea. In addition to rinsing, I'll let the water sit in the brewing vessel until any a...

Re: Buying Pu'erh for the long haul
I'm having a lot of fun with my soda stream and various teas.....sparkling sencha, sparkling oolongs, sparkling gyokuro; and I probably should be playing with sparkling herbal infusions as well. Hibiscus for tart fruity notes, hydrangea and licorice for sweet, citrus zest, cinnamon, cloves, cardamo...

I had to look up the song. I'm the biggest Michigan fan!!!! Not really. Not much into sports. However, the son does go to THE OSU.EarthMonkey wrote: ↑Sun Jul 26, 2020 3:29 pmIf you've got it in you to sing Hail to the Victors, I think I could find a few root beer samples to send you.
