Re: Yixing
Came across a luni shui ping pot and was wondering whether the experts could weight in and determine its age/period. Wasn't looking for a pot, but I can't resist a good shui ping, and I don't have any luni yet.

Re: Introduce Yourself
Hello, I was on teachat under the same handle, but I've been told that this is a more active forum. I've been drinking tea on-and-off for the last 10 years, mostly puerh and aged oolong. I was abroad for the last two years so I haven't been able to drink much tea, but now I have been reunited with ...

Re: Aging puerh: what is your setup?
My puerh is stored in one of those grow tents that's 4' x 1.25' x 1.25' or approximately 52 gallons. I keep a container of water in there, and the RH hovers around 70 and the temperature stays pretty solid at 73 degrees Fahrenheit. I'm thinking of ways to increasing the heat, using a heating pad for...

FS: Puer Sample Swap
I'm looking to swap samples with someone within the United States. I'm interested in sheng puer ( >15 years), aged oolong, and roasted oolong (particularly high-fired TGY or yancha). I'd prefer to swap with just a few people so I don't have to send off a bunch of packages. I work 9-5 M-F, so don't e...

@mrmopu
I had one go with it, but I wasn't super impressed - wasn't the worst out of the bunch but wasn't my favorite either. I have enough to do a second round with it, so maybe the second time might reveal a little more about it

Re: What Pu'er Are You Drinking
Going through a dozen samples of Changtai from KTM - most were duds but I'm really like the 2006 Chang Tai Hao Menghai Qiao Bing - Ji. The Bu Lang taste is very apparent, the tea liquor is thick and complex, and the cha qi is going straight to my head. I'm thinking of buying a few cakes of this - ha...

Re: Best Taobao Agent
I've been wondering the same. I have a package on the way with an order I made through "Superbuy", am satisfied with the service. But if there are other trustworthy agents out there that take a smaller cut I'd love to know. Particularly if there are agents with better bulk shipping prices. From wha...

Best Taobao Agent
It's been five years since I last ordered from Tao Bao, so I don't know how the landscape of Tao Bao agents has changed - I have ordered from Tao Bao Focus and it went well, but I'm wondering if there are better options out there.

What teas have you used E, F, and H for? How would you describe the thickness of the walls?

Re: Gaiwan
My favorite gaiwan is from The Tea Gallery, which has closed. It's eggshell thin and a dream to use; however, I worry about the day will come that it breaks. What are people's recommendations for thin gaiwan with flared lips to minimize finger-burning? The ones from TWL are back in stock and look s...
