Re: Drinking and buying tea in Taiwan and Kuala Lumpur
So I am finally back home after 4 intensely rewarding but also very tiring weeks on the road. Thanks again to everyone for the tips and suggestions. I spent way too much time (and money) on tea even though this wasn't a tea oriented trip but I am not complaining. Once I've had a chance to catch a br...

Re: Drinking and buying tea in Taiwan and Kuala Lumpur
@Bok and @Tillerman: Thank you for the suggestions, much appreciated and very helpful. My focus is more on drinking tea and meeting people, and experiencing teahouses and even tea ware stores, as that is what I don't get to do at home. If I get to buy some good tea that is a nice bonus, but not the ...

Drinking and buying tea in Taiwan and Kuala Lumpur
Hi guys, I'm going to be traveling through parts of Taiwan and then on to Kuala Lumpur soon. If any of you are based there and would like to get together for some that would be wonderful. Re: What Pu'er Are You Drinking
Yesterday was 2016 Tuhao from W2T as part of my ongoing #waronsamples this month. Maybe the first tea from them that I enjoyed, though it didn't last that long for me. (I push my young sheng a lot). Overall I think the W2T house style just isn't for me. Granted I haven't tried their very top tier st...

Re: What Pu'er Are You Drinking
Just drank a 2017 Yiwu Gao Shan Maocha from KingTeaMall. It's really fruity and sweet in the beginning with touches of mild bitterness that somehow reminds me of hops from a Pale Ale. It is such a nice tea :D Agreed. I don't normally enjoy young Yiwu, but this one responds rather well to being push...

Re: Introduce Yourself
And since my teas are stored at about 68% humidity it seems to be more an issue of the humidity in my drinking environment rather than the storage. Firing up a humidifier today to try and confirm. Imagine what your teas could taste like in Asia! No need for that. Northern Italy is closer ...

Re: Introduce Yourself
sqt welcome! Might it be that it is due to the usually drier climate in Europe’s Winter that your tea feels less aromatic? Humidity is quite important for the enjoyment of tea. When I go home from Asia, my good teas all feel a little flat in the dry air... :/ Bok: I am pretty sure that is the case....
