It has worked well with aged and young raw, and ripe puer. I'll probably dedicate this one for aged/semi-aged raw puer.StoneLadle wrote: ↑Mon Oct 26, 2020 9:51 amWhat kind of excellent things are you gonna do with this excellent pot, sir?

Is the 2005 Dayi 7542, Batch 502 gone forever? I snoozed to long and should have bought it when I had the chance.

Re: Yixing advice
I have a Dou Qing Ni in 100ml!! Love my pot but am actually the opposite —wanting something bigger 😂 Maybe you and I can trade haha I think this little green pot makes the best fresh sheng puerh so far. Better than any other pots I have. I just wish it’s a tad bigger! I'd like yours and mine :D. I'...

Re: mud and leaves
How do your DCQ and TQN pots compare for aged sheng OR young sheng? I find dicaoqing mutes some of the flavour more than TQN does. I would say it depends on what kind of young sheng and your personal preferences. I prefer to use zhuni or porcelain for softer, smoother young sheng. Stronger stuff do...

FS: Early 2000s Hong Ni Yixing Teapot
Purchased from ChaWang Shop in 2016 and have used it since then. I cleaned it out using crystallized citric acid as is recommended, though there are some spots the brush could not reach. I'm sure a small sphere shaped brush will get it. Let me know if you have any questions or need additional pictur...

Re: Yixing advice
I have one of the YZG DCQ pots made by Shen Ye Qin. I've been using it with early 2000s sheng and am very happy with it; the tea is smooth, full, and sweet every time. It's almost effortless. Others here know more than me but I'm very satisfied with my experience. I haven't used a Yinchen DCQ pot, ...

Re: Yixing advice
I've have a few pots that I use today: Early 90s F2/F5 dark zini that the vendor noted more porous and different than other purple clay . I use this once in a while for aged sheng. It's a bit small (75ml) but is a little too porous i think. Early 2000s Hong Ni . Vendor noted private order in an afte...

Re: Yixing advice
I was looking into a Di Cao Qing + Duanni pot for aged sheng (10+ years) but now I'm not sure. Why not? It's all I use pretty much and it's all I drink most of the time.. A number of responses here suggested it's not a good match. Thanks for the confidence boost though. Maybe I'll give it more time...

Looking for new tea tray recommendations
I've been using a bamboo tea tray for the last several years which has worked great, but will need to be replaced soon. I am looking for a larger tray to comfortably fit at least 1 cup, 1 pot, and one cha hai pitcher. So something around 40cmx30cm (15inx10in) or a little bigger. Some of the trays I ...
