Re: Your ideal cup shape for green tea?

It depends partly on the season. In warmer months I tend to prefer lower and wider to allow for cooling. As the days get shorter and colder, I go for cups that are taller and not so wide to retain heat. Since I tend to favor finer sencha and I use around 1.5 grams leaf per 1 ounce (30 ml) water ... ...

Re: Bad storage pu-er cakes, vendor declines a refund. Any way to rescue?

It's really going to be a cool place here. I am learning whenever I visit. But it sure would be gracious if such posts were revisted and revised by their creators under such circumstances. As a question to a Moderator, can a prexisting post be edited at any time by a member after posting it by tapp...

Re: Green Tea Order

I’m jealous of your order. I have difficulty drinking sencha because I’m overly sensitive to the bitter taste note and it overwhelms the other flavors. I learned about O-Cha from Chip on teachat and they’ve been my favorite source of Karigane and Gyokuro ever since. They’re both less bitter than se...

Re: Green Tea Order

Need to reorder ASAP, just opened my last bag of sencha, Sae Midori . All the O-Cha selections were quite good as usual. This was the first time I ordered the Kabusecha in years, it was the sleeper of the order ... turned out exceptionally well. Yutaka Midori , awesome ... the particles were not nea...

I was drinking a puerh earlier, but I didn't like it very much and switched back to a plain ippodo sencha. Nothing special, but I definitely used too much leaf :?
Too much leaf? ... I did not know that was possible for sencha.

Re: Guide: Becoming a Vendor/Artisan Member

Vendors and Artisans: Please create your own Page, by posting under Community/Artisan or Community/Vendor. Share something about yourself, your company, share images and provide links to your web site. Only one thread per vendor please. Should I do This? Being a ceramic artist and all? For sure!

Social Media conditioned

Is it just me, I am conditioned to click "like" every time I read a post on our forum? There are so many great posts already ... and all so readily available for reading/viewing.

But I am repeatedly disappointed when I realize I am not on FB.

Hello, since this is about an experience with a Pu-erh, I think it will receive better attention under that forum. So I am moving it there.
