Thanks for sharing. Your work looks so good; it took me a good 15 or 20 seconds to find the new holes!

Re: Expanding the lid's hole?
I have heard of members here and previously at TC using diamond tip drill bits on irregular filters, very carefully and gingerly. A simple search like this https://www.teachat.com/viewtopic.php?f=87&t=16502&p=210394&hilit=diamond+drill#p210394 In that thread one message commented on the difficulty ...

Every so often you have to forget you’ve become somewhat of a tea snob and go back to your cheap tea bag roots... Large English Breakfast Tea, cream and one sugar care of Tim Hortons. A26E45A8-1C44-4613-90D3-0AF223DE1BC6.jpeg I hear you, repost of a /r/tea_irl tEkaujH.jpg Although, today I'm ...

Re: Recommend trying a Water flosser
This reminds me of when I was little I loved to let the water from the hose flow into my mouth for a minute, then when I went back in the swimming pool I could taste the pool water's difference very clearly.

Re: How much tea do you consume per day?
If it happens it happens but it has to come naturally so I can enjoy the relaxing nature of it. A good sentiment. Many days I'll have a 5-8g session during my work day. I'll start if I have a lull to get the first few infusions peacefully. If there is no time to enjoy it I'll pass, sometimes grab a...

Re: What Oolong Are You Drinking
Glad you like the tea! It is one of my favorite daily drinker TGYs at present and it was a surprise discovery from a vendor I've bought Wuyicha from for years! IMO it's an excellent example of a classic HK roast TGY, and economical enough that you could even grandpa it if you wanted to! I'm realizi...

Those look beautiful. Are they organized by the types of tea?
I use those 45 quart clear plastic totes from Costco. At $15/3 I'm happy.

Re: Top electric kettle
I use a sort of hybrid electric kettle. I have a small induction cooker that I put a normal kettle on. I have used the normal electric kettles, but always come back to my induction cooker. The kettle is lighter, usually better designed, and if the induction cooker breaks I don't need a new kettle, a...

I'm having some 2017 Farmer-Leaf Single Trees. Fresh, thick, great energy and very nice lingering feel in the mouth. I'm very happy that I bought a cake.

Re: What Oolong Are You Drinking
Drinking a 2017 winter harvest Lishan from colleagues at Floating Leaves. This is very fine tea. It has a good, slightly sweet entry with balanced acidity in the mid-palate. Wonderful viscosity and a long, satisfying finish. Congratulations to Shiuwen for a great offering. I've only nice things to ...

Re: Gongfu with white tea?
Of course, I know that it depends on many factors...I'm just trying to get the general guidelines... Months after I started experimenting and trying shou puerh, an advice from a friend about brewing time and leaf quantity was totally life-changing....Same goes for Danhongpao, for a long time I just...
