Re: Introduce Yourself

Welcome to the forum @student t! I’m in the same boat as you. I live in an area where access to tea is limited locally. I get all my tea information from the internet or books and this is one of the best spots. Lots of helpful, knowledgeable people here as you already know :)

Thanks for posting this @Victoria. One of the things I’m working on, slowly it seems, is to modify my tea drinking into more of a mindful ritual.

Re: Tea and Personality

Well done on the taxonomy Bok some humor and truth :) I'm currently a mix of the Control Freak and The Specialist. I tend to stick to measured tea/water ratios. I have a list of how many usable ml of water each of my brewing vessels can hold. When I first started drinking puer I bought tons of sampl...

Price/Shipping drop on Ippodo Canada/U.S.

This morning I received the following email below. I thought maybe some would be interested, that don't subscribe to their email marketing. I purchased three 20g tins of matcha from them in May. Shipping at that time was $8.95 to where I live, now they have a "free" option. The price of the matchas ...

Very nice yunomi Michael . Thanks for sharing and nice to see you on here :)

I've really enjoyed the chawan I purchased from you. Could you tell me about the glaze and how it was fired?

Here are a couple of Novak chawans I received today. I sent an email to Petr but does anyone know how to clean and maintain these? Pictures by Petr.

He recently unloaded his kiln and has pots ready to go. You can email him directly about items you want. I just bought a couple chawans from him.

Re: Brew Times/Strategy with Compressed Puer

What I do in those situations is do a normal rinse and then start the next steep right away. Wait about a minute or so, and then pour a bit in my teacup and see where it's at taste wise.
