I think their HeKai was pretty good to if I recall. If you like HeKai have you had a chance to try W2T's Repave? It is one I like. It can be hit or miss with people but I am one of the hits with it.

I like the BuLang mountain region for the punchiness and bitter that the area brings. I also like MengSong area and especially Baotang tea. I seems to carry a thicker profile and echoes some of the BuLang area stuff. It can also carry a sweeter note as well. I like stuff that kicks back so your tas...

2003 Changtai Bamboo Spring. 17 years old and not overly stored. Leaves the tea nice, clean brew notes of old book and sweet figs in the brew. Clean easy to drink. Just a touch of humidity has done this one well.

A/C takes moisture out of the air. Check your heat pump and you will see water coming from the drain line. That is humidity removed from your air.

I think it will age too. Albeit much slower than in an Asian climate or US pumidor. I have the same cake and I think the year prior to that one.

Yeah until the standardization they could do and say about anything on the wrapper. People used to buy Zhong Cha labels and rewrap tons of stuff back in the day. Buy a wrapper and put in what you want.

You should weigh the brewing vessel with the dry tea in it and after the rinse. I found my trick by accident doing that. Bricks you are likely correct on. Giving them the time to bubble seems sound practice.
