Re: Push notifications -- a useful feature?

Very interesting. I can see how people would find that quite useful.

As for myself, it's really a wash because I usually have TF opened in a tab at all times. :D

Re: Green oolongs losing flavor within 2 weeks of opening

This has been and continues to be my favorite method of storing open teas that won't be immediately consumed. It is a blend of CO2, Argon, and Nitrogen

This tasting reminds me of Chip’s TC OTTI’s.
Those were my thoughts exactly and precisely why I am so stoked for this event!

The OTTIs introduced me to so many wonderful teas that I otherwise would not have tasted.

Re: Confronting Counterfeit Tea

A third recommended soaking in ice and epsom salts. It seems unlikely that the epsom salts would really do much by passing through the skin. Soaking in ice water probably would be a lot more effective as an anti-inflammatory than using ice packs, which I did, per doctor recommendation. [offtopic] E...

plus 3 more bags of 20th Anniversary.
You must really be enjoying that one, Chip!

I have a bag that I ordered but have not opened yet. I have been under the weather so I don't want to venture into it without all of my senses being at their best.

Enjoying a lovely Summer 2016 Yǒujī dōngfāng měirén from @Tillerman. Fragrant with notes of honey, peach and perhaps a touch of citrus. Long lingering aftertaste with a sweetness that reminds me of cane sugar. Absolutely delicious!

Re: Recommendations for a newb

Well then... I finally got tired of hemming and hawing over this stuff. Eventually I found myself on Yunnan Sourcing placing an order. I don't know if I did well, fair, or poor, but I dove in head first and did it none the less. So, the following is what I ended up getting: Sheng 2007 Pin Xiang "Bu ...

Re: The art of Kung fu tea

I believe I saw in a tea documentary that these long spout pots originated in Sichuan tea houses to that guests could be served from a distance.

There is an article I saw about it here.
