@OCTO what can I say, it consistently performs above average with oolongs of all kinds, even among 60s Hongni, this one seems to come from an even better batch.

Two caddies are gone.

Cups above, inner diameter is 5.5 and 6cm. About 20cm high.

Two small white clay caddies. Inside unglazed. Not really suitable for long term storage. Short time at the tea table.

Second is a roasting vessel from Japan. I bought it new a few years back. It’s meant for baking sesame seeds or, which is what I got it for, tea.

Slowly and with low heat to wake up a tea.

Good as new, as I only used it once or twice.

Price: 1000NT

First up is a lovely set of two wood fired cups. Taiwanese clay, made by my pottery teacher.

Coarse clay, some glassy spots from the ash, metallic sheen, thick walled. Good cups for Puerh or older teas.

Spring is upon us and some stuff has been overdue to cede their shelf space.
