Re: Yixing

And at that pt, lqer zhuni is not far off, but of course, to each their own. Exactly. Those pots are sought after by collectors who want to have a more complete collection of early factory pieces... one needs to be aware of that. There is a reason you don't find them on offer. However, it's also tr...

Re: Yixing

And this one comes even closer: https://m.facebook.com/100004608287314/posts/pcb.2666304990308552/ Very useful group ;) Do you by any chance know a group that shows/sells genuine antiques? Then I could do a side by side comparison. I don’t know of groups or online resources for antique pots. Books ...

Mark-S https://m.facebook.com/groups/1515744082031321/?ref=group_browse You can view many examples of these replica/copy pots in this group. Nice, I did not know this group. How can I be sure if it's a replica / a copy or a genuine one? By the price? I don’t think this group has listings for antiqu...

Re: What Pu'er Are You Drinking

03 Zipin and 08 Blue Mark are both excellent teas. Ive already consumed half a cake each so I’m seriously considering taking advantage of the 10% sale they are having right now. It seems like there are massive shipping delays right now so I’ll prob hold off until June right before the sale ends. I ...

Re: What Pu'er Are You Drinking

I’ve been drinking through a few teas from Wisteria over the past 5 weeks. 03 Zipin and 08 Blue Mark are both excellent teas. Ive already consumed half a cake each so I’m seriously considering taking advantage of the 10% sale they are having right now. It seems like there are massive shipping delays...

Re: Yixing

Mark-S I have one JDTF pot. It's quite old school style. Like 90s pots. But their construction is much better than F1 or other 90s 00s productions. It's a modern option for those who like like they charm of older pots, while have a good fitting lid and straight lines. ./download/file.php?id=4990 Ol...

Re: Yixing

@steanze

Do you have any pictures of your 60-70’s zini pots?

A zini pot from this era is at the top of my list for F1 pots. Although I’ve yet to come across one for sale other than one that kyarazen sold awhile back.

The modern ones are not that expensive and look a lot better. In my opinion they would be worth considering if it does not need to be something vintage/antique.

The newer ones look much better.

Re: Yixing

Youzi Sorry for the confusion. I was talking about my pot on the right. https://www.teaforum.org/viewtopic.php?p=23569#p23569 Nice, so I was right about the JDTF pot. 8-) The one on the right is White Label F1? To me the No Name 90s Hong Ni pot and my "fake" or No Name Hong Ni pot (whatever you'd l...

Re: Yixing

./download/file.php?id=4990 Is the JDTF pot on this picture? I think these JDTF pots could be similar to my recent "fake" pot. Balthazar "F1 90s clay" is more special than "random studio's 2018" clay in my opinion. Of course that does not say much about the clay's quality. The teapot was sold...

Re: The Porcelain Thread

This pattern is similar to 18th-19th century Chinese stuff. Yeah, it looks similar to this one I posted some weeks ago: https://www.teaforum.org/viewtopic.php?p=22210#p22210 The seller claimed that the new plate was made after 1940 and the base looks too clean to me, but maybe it's just the photo. ...
