Yowza. Blue. Drippy. The purple-red areas with pale spots are like H&E stained cells view under a microscope. Cool beans. And cute shape to boot.

Re: What Herbal Are You Drinking
Beautiful. The blend is interesting: I’m trying to imagine the taste and thinking of rose water added to cinnamon in a rice pudding: if the floral and spice are delicately handled, should be as fine a taste as it is a fine vision.

How I got started with Dan Cong
I got a request to help someone decide how to start out with Tea Habitat's Dan Cong teas. I remember that first visit to her store, enjoying a tasting with her and she advised me to start with some of her 'commercial' Phoenix Oolongs--fine teas but distnguished by 'Phoenix oolong' on the label, not ...

Re: Teabags/Tea balls
I hold my pot over a waste container, tap on my pot gently with my finger and the bulk of the leaves usually fall out. Then I rinse the pot under running water from the tap (at home), over my stainless steel sink (one of my favorite things in my kitchen, after losing too many pieces to cracking or s...

Re: Storing matcha after opening. Fridge, or cabinet?
I wonder though if those vacu-canisters would suck up the powdered matcha? debunix might have some ideas since you’ve posted about using your Food Saver vacuum system with various teas. I’ve never tried it with matcha. I’m opening one matcha pack at a time and using it up as quick as I can, storing...

Re: Your day in matcha
The Seiju matcha from tea masters makes a beautiful koicha! Super thick and rich. Also smooth and very little if any bitterness. ./download/file.php?id=8127 ./download/file.php?id=8126 Gorgeous. And a question I’ve had for a while.... How do you drink something this thick? It looks like my matcha a...
