Of course there will be a marked difference. Porcelain in general will be non muting. Glazed clay will in the majority be much thicker than possible with porcelain, so heat retention is an issue.
In your experience is glazed clay more muting or more accentuating?

There is many types of glazes and porcelain probably differs in terms om wood fired or industrially produced. But you get the i...

Re: What Pu'er Are You Drinking

the 2012 Yeh Gu from YQH. The flavors are certainly not for the faint of hearted  . But the energy of this tea just resonate strongly with me.

Re: 2019 from Wuyi Origin?

Tieluohan is in the basket - I am looking forward to it!! Please any more recommendations? Their range is so huge WO only has the regular TLH in stock now. The boutique stuff sells out quick. I think the Jin mao hou is my favorite 2019 yancha from them. 2019: Rougui, TLH, LCSX and ban tian yao and ...

Re: Tetsubin pouring issues

Thanks for the input and advice faj , @.m. and Chadrinkincat . heating the tetsubin with the spout outside the radiated heat seem to work against the water shouting out when the tetsubin is tilted. Tilting the tetsubin the other direction first (letting steam out) seem to help with issue number two ...

Tetsubin pouring issues

Hi, I have a tetsubin that have a couple really annoying problems when it comes to pouring. When the water is boiling and I am about to pour it on the tea the water will shoot out even though the tetsubin is just tilted a little bit (it seems to me to be because of the spout is to hot). The second s...

Re: 2019 from Wuyi Origin?

Their Boutique Tieluohan that they had this year is just outstanding. I am not very experienced with Yancha but my god that is a good tea. I do not need a better tea I just don't.

I have not had a Qulian in a long time. What is the flavor profile like? I am not familair with Wuyiorigin...h...
