Re: Watch out for those plastic tea bags....

I ended up "reporting" on this, or sharing or what have you. Basically, a professor of Chemical Engineering, Nathalie Tufenkji, went to get a tea from a local cafe and realized that her tea bag was made out of plastic. She grew concerned and then, being a professor and having the resources, decided ...

Re: What Black Are You Drinking

Nice cup, teaandme. Why is guava in the name? Read your review and wondered how close this is to Lapsang Souchong. I am not 100% positive, but I would assume that Guava refers to the wood used to smoke the tea. https://www.tea-chronicles.com/thyolo-moto-malawi-guava-wood-smoked-black-tea/ This webs...

Re: What Black Are You Drinking

I am drinking Malawian Smoked Guava tea from Satemwa Tea Estate. The brand that sells it is Teasup tea and I have just found an absolute love for it. It smells like a bonfire but tastes just so warm and comforting. I love it. Sorry that the picture is so large haha https://www.teaandmeco.com/wp-cont...

A bit ago, a UK based tea company called Teasup Tea sent me tea to review. After some research, I found myself impressed with their company dedication to environmentally friendly design in all of their packaging and their commitment to ethically sourcing their tea. Re: Tea and Me Blog

Hello friends! Experimenting with tea can be so much fun, especially when you are trying to prove why you do what you do. I wanted to know why brewing times and temperatures actually matter. So, I proved why it does. I first brewed four different teas with 2 different times and temperatures. You can...

Re: Tea and Me Blog

New Post! I love helping out smaller tea companies by reviewing their tea! Resisteance is a new tea company, started in December 2018. You can read the review here . Re: Tea and Me Blog

Great article! I want to be a little careful when we talk about 'Fair Trade' and 'Rainforest Alliance' as means of finding "ethical" farms. These certifications are very expensive, and therefore typically only apply to large, plantation-style farms that can afford them. These same types of farms ar...

Re: Tea and Me Blog

Hello! I have a new post! I wanted to look more into Ethically Sourced Tea. I see this word all over the tea world, but what does it mean? How does it affect us, tea consumers? Why should everyone be aware of this? Check out the post Here! https://www.teaandmeco.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/04/Ethica...

Re: Tea and Me Blog

Hey all! I have a new post out! I decided to review the Dollar Tea Club Subscription Box services. I ordered the Explorer Pack (so I could try out teas before buying more). Drank it too fast and did not take any pictures! But I love it so much!

Later in the day, I am drinking Harney & Son's Blueberry Green Tea! This is probably the best blueberry tea I had had yet.
