2016 W2T TeaDontLie: Really nice overall. This is a nice mellow-ish, fruity, floral brew. Later steeps bring out astringency.

[WTS] Jian Shui clay tea canisters from Yunnan Sourcing
I am selling 3 Jian Shui clay tea canisters I purchased from Yunnan Sourcing. They are clean and have no smell that I can detect. They have been clean and empty for the last year or more. They are approximately 5in H x 4in D (~13cm H x 10cm D). The second picture has an unopened 200g puer cake for s...

Re: Looking for new tea tray recommendations
I recently picked up a new tray because my old one was falling apart and was too small to begin with. I was looking for a ceramic base one, but went for a cheaper bamboo one because it was available locally. While its nice being able to brew very wet if I want, the problem is its also what starts t...

Re: Looking for new tea tray recommendations
I do enjoy a minimalist setup when I am brewing in the kitchen/shed/garden but when I am in my dedicated team space I enjoy a larger tray. My partner found this one for me when she was in China last, but I have seen it listed in places like AliExpress with a search for wooden tea tray. Very nice se...

Re: Looking for new tea tray recommendations
I came to a realization that I dont need a big 'ole tea tray and that a small tea boat is enough to collect drippings. I got a cheaper one to start with and so far i like it more than the tray.

Re: The Porcelain Thread
Maybe this is heretical but i like to do western brewing in a glass french press, which is easily scalable, cheap and relatively convenient to clean Interesting. I am open to it. Do you use the plunger? Yes, I use the plunger. Almost no leaf material passes it I got a french press, a baby one, 350m...

Re: The Porcelain Thread
I typically brew black tea western style and I'm looking for a larger tea pot, around 200-250ml. I am strongly considering porcelain as the material in a traditional teapot or perhaps a Kyusu. What are some reputable vendors that I should be looking at? Thanks in advance gregcss For that size of po...
