Re: What Green Are You Drinking

Chip and I have daily morning TeaSessions since 2008. This morning we enjoyed a Chip's blend of Kabusecha and Asa Giri , both teas from O-Cha, our go to vendor. 11 grams in a Kobewaku kyusu by Junzo. Tea imparted qualities of both selections, some blends just work and this was one.

Re: What Green Are You Drinking

Sae Midori from O-Cha served in our wintry, white Kairagi Hagi cups by Kashun, brewed in one of our 260 Mil Yamada Sou direct wall filter kyusu. This kyusu pours 100 percent times better than the Guisi used yesterday. Yesterday, Chip used a Guisi direct wall ... not the perfect pour for fukamushi, ...

Lovely, what teas did you get ... if any?
O-Cha is our 'go to ' vendor. Chip and I just got a shipment of 5 different sencha and gyokuro last week💚

I can't recall seeing the 'same' sencha in all attributes though with different levels of steaming. I'm guessing Chip would know.
My guess too, I will make sure he sees this post when he gets back from his bike ride!

Re: Deep shiboridashi as general-use teapot?

faj, our go to vendor for green tea is O-Cha, excellent selection at competitive prices. Plus he offers teas from Tsuen, oldest in Japan.

I'll ask Chip to post tea recommendations for you ... I love his Sae Midori and Yutaka Midori ... great tasting sencha for the price.
