[EU] Yamada Sou Kyusu

Hello, I’m selling a shudei kyusu from Yamada Sou barely used, I still have the original packaging. To the brim the volume is about 215ml. Only used with sencha. I’m looking to sell it for 220€ (customs was highly expensive to import it in the EU, I had to pay around 120€ just to receive it). I’m in...

Re: Kabazaiku vs Kaikado?

My kabazaiku can only hold about 50g of sencha so there is no way for me to put a mylar bag inside. Even then I would probably ask if it's better to contain the mylar bag inside a kabazaiku or a kaikado

Re: Kabazaiku vs Kaikado?

I store my sencha in a container for 2 weeks max, the rest goes in individual doses in my freezer. But to my question I guess that there is no concensus on what’s better to store sencha between a kaikado and a kabazaiku? Would be a nice experiment if someone has both. I already have a quite expensiv...

Kabazaiku vs Kaikado?

Hello, has anyone compared a kabazaiku vs a kaikado container? I'm wondering which one might be better to store sencha. I suspect the tolerances might be better on the kaikado, making the sealing tighter but the cherry bark tea caddies have apparently the advantage of absorbing excess moisture from ...

Re: Introduce Yourself

Hello everyone, How long have you been drinking tea? Since I was a kid (but that was mostly from tea bags at the time). I really liked the vibe when I was going to my grandparents in the afternoon and my grandfather made this big teapot for us. What kind of tea do you drink? Sencha mostly and matcha...
