I've been getting free loose leaf tea (mostly oolong, green and jasmine green) from a coworker to find what I like before using my gaiwan. Ziplock has done me well even in samples.

I really enjoy the caffeineted smooth flavor of Twinnings breakfast tea (I know it's not true loose leaf; but until I can find some loose leaf, it's all I can find similar). My first experience with matcha was terrible. It says it was culinary grade. Very bitter, grainy and gave me stomach trouble later. Maybe I'm not using the right kind.
