Re: What HeiCha are you drinking
These last few days I've been trying out the Baishaxi Anhua Heicha tasting set from Teasenz. Out of the seven types of tea, the ones that stood out for me the most were the Fu Zhuan and Qian Liang (didn't know what spicy tea meant until now, the smell really took me by surprise  ). I'm still tr...

Re: Clay Kettles
Thank you for the answers. If i don't descale the kettle, it stops working properly. The water leaks, it makes weird noises, and so on. I forgot to mention, but i did try blind-tasting various bottled spring water brands, that is why singled out the kettles as the possible cause. The western facing ...

Re: Clay Kettles
Are clay kettles an improvement to water taste? I have been using two electric kettles. One is the cheaper, classic kind, which boils the water. The best water that i have ever drank was during one of my hikes on Bucegi Mountains. There was an old resting spot on the trail wit...

Re: What HeiCha are you drinking
Drinking some 2001 Awazon Fine Aged Ripe Pu-erh Tea. So far i like this one, it's smooth, refreshing and has a pleasant aftertaste which i don't know how to describe. Doesn't have a too overpowering smokey/woody taste. I know i'm the beginning of my tea journey, but every time i try a new shou my fi...

Re: Introduce Yourself
How long have you been drinking tea? I got serious about tea in the summer of 2021, but i grew up drinking herbal teas ( you can find herbal teas everywhere here  ). What kind of tea do you drink? At this stage i mostly drink hei cha and ripe pu-erh. I also like TGY and silver needles, which i...
