Re: How much tea is too much tea?
A lot of feedback that I hear is that you need to listen to your body... Be aware of how well you sleep, whether you have any nutritional deficiencies etc.

Re: How much tea is too much tea?
One way to know if you're drinking too much tea would be to have your vitamin and minerals levels examined—during a period when you're on tea and not. Your sleep quality is also another good indicator—again this would need to be tested. Last but not least, go off tea (and any other source of related...

Re: Masala chai
Masala chai is traditionally sweetened with jaggery—dried sugar cane juice—it retains all the minerals etc. Therefore imparting a rich layer of flavour to your chai. Assam is my tea of choice. Are you on Instagram? I have a few posts about masala chai https://www.instagram.com/not_4_all_the_tea_in_c...

Re: Tetsubin cleaning tutorial
Hi teaheads
I'm attaching the care instructions for my own tetsubin (not everything might be applicable to your make). It also confirms what Victoria has mentioned.
Hope this helps.
Cheers

It's very enjoyable to watch. In a way I feel it's a pity that he has no relation to the products he sells. But he does make some good deals — good for him.

Re: Teahead's Bible on Caffeine Management
Hi Baiyun Thanks for sharing your thoughts. Tea-derived caffeine is indeed found together with other substances such as theanine—I do point this out in my book. Moreover, caffeine is not the only stimulant in found in tea. Tea-derived caffeine and coffee-derived do indeed have quite different effect...

Re: How much tea is too much tea?
I would say it depends on the what, when, how and why.
Some teas have less caffeine than others (processing, type of fermentation, time picked, etc.) and brewing parameters play a role as well.

Re: Tea-derived caffeine
I've heard form one chemist - biologist that caffeine also irritates your kidney so you might not feel being boosted ( because tolerance or you just don't realize it anymore ) but you going to wc more than you would if drinking only water or other , non-caffeine , drink. Yes, it is a mild diuretic ...

Re: Tea-derived caffeine
debunix Well I speak as someone who was sensitive to caffeine until I deliberately went about developing a tolerance, gradually, over a 5 year period. There is some evidence to suggest that caffeine, at least with coffee as the vehicle, can be helpful in preventing neurodegenerative disease and som...
