Re: I want to become a tea farmer and producer!
This is absolutely amazing! How are you going to process? Can I buy some :D? Haha! Thanks for the offer! This is just a hobby project for now, but I appreciate the support. I’ll probably start by processing the first few batches as white tea since it’s the least complicated and a good way to get a ...

Re: I want to become a tea farmer and producer!
wow! amazing! I see you have some forest near by? Try to put some in there. Find at least gentle slope ( soil moisture in forest is higher ). You may try later seed that "cha guo" on the picture, tea tree seed , when it's ready. I have some small wooded areas near me, I'm kind of in a pocket there ...

Chiyonoen Tea Farm - Snowing Mountain Organic Wakōcha Sayamakaori (Spring Picking) This is one of those teas you order and quickly realize you should have ordered much more of! That says a lot coming from me, as I generally don't "love" many black teas I've tried. However, this Wakōcha is now on my ...

Re: Your day in tea
In the stillness of this moment, a single cup of tea reflects not just the serenity of the river before me but the quietude within myself. The world flows by, blurred and transient, while this humble vessel holds time itself—clear, unwavering, and alive.

Re: I want to become a tea farmer and producer!
I am growing 50 Tea plants currently, to be honest, I have no idea what I am doing but... They are doing amazing so far. These are descendants from the Lipton Tea Research Facility that was located in Fairhope Alabama in the 70's. From what I understand there was a Hurricane (Fredrick) that hit Alab...

Re: What Black Are You Drinking
Nice-looking teaware! Never came across a Japanese black that had enough flavor for me. It looks tasty in that pretty cup though. Thanks! I have had a few that were quite interesting, The Japanese kind of have their unique spin on Black tea and even Oolongs. I think one of the most unique and delic...

Re: Japanese Tetsubin Question
When I first got it I believe it had been coated in urishi because there wasn't any oxidation at all, I can only assume that someone had taken the time to recondition the tetsubin when I bought it. I purchased it online from a fairly well-known vendor Katsuragi Japan. For the first several months I ...

Japanese Tetsubin Question
I have been using my Tetsubin for just shy of a year now and I was curious if any other Tetsubin users out there could relate to an issue I find myself having. I have noticed that the first batch of water is a little over the top with the iron taste, and after I boil that first kettle the flavor is ...

I picked up 100g of this last December and it's likely the best gyokuro I have had yet. I'm not sure what price point you're looking for. https://shop.ikkyu-tea.com/collections/gyokuro/products/gyokuro-box-i https://shop.ikkyu-tea.com/cdn/shop/products/Ikkyu_tea_gykuro_gift_box_square-e1569586947978...

iTeaworld - Dahongpao Oolong Tea (Big Red Robe) Aroma: after warming the leaf in my porcelain kyusu the roasted caramel aroma was present as soon as I lifted the lid of the kyusu to pour the water onto the leaf. I have come to enjoy several Dahonpao Oolongs so I was looking forward to seeing what th...
