Re: Ceylon black tea
I take Ceylon tea quite often, it's like a 5 o'clock thing but have not had much luck with ordering the one I used to find locally before. I think it was a st.james but very aromatic and smooth with a light touch of astringence. Have not been able to find it anymore unfortunately despite trying a lo...

I thought it was just france. I don't mind paying for shipping, I do mind the custom taxes. It's totally expensive ridiculous.

First time o-cha order!
absolutely
amazing tea. I took a quick picture of my cup before I ran out for an appointment but picture does not do it justice of the real color of the infusion. Taste was very sweet, slight touch of astringency, and great after taste.

Re: What Green Are You Drinking
Thank you for the explanation. I never noticed because I order in euros and shipped in France, had no idea you could switch currency. But what has increased for me is the custom fees, i paid 58 euro to the dhl last week for an order from thailand with value 150€. Its ridiculous! I asked the DHL deli...

What are the recent changes?Masterjeff wrote: ↑Sat Mar 16, 2024 2:12 pmEnjoying a wonderful saemidori gyokuro from Thes Du Japon, thick umami with not a hint of bitterness brewed at 4g/40ml, quite disheartening to hear about the recent changes as I really enjoy their tea.

Sencha from Mariko Kondo Wase cultivar
Arg my favorite shincha out of stock again before I could place an order from Thes du Japon. I was travelling and wanted to be home before I placed the order. Any other japanese sellers that you have tried and been the same quality as Florent's teas?

Transporting teas when moving internationally
Hello, Has anyone moved internationally with your tea collection and how did you make sure teas were safe? I'm thinking of taking some in the suitcase with me and some in the big boxes that will be in whatever storage for sometime till we settle in a house but I'm worried about this latter option. H...

Re: Your day in tea
It's fall season officially and harvest season for us at the farm. We have this humble fig tree that keeps giving so usually jam making day requires energy and patience, and lot's of tea session here and there. I've been finding lately that sencha and fig jam and fresh goat cheese is a match of perf...
