Here I am again about to go crazy in spring and over orderVictoria wrote: ↑Sun Apr 02, 2023 3:08 pmGood to hear about Thes du Japon’s Sincha Teafortea. I just received notification that Ippodo’s Sincha pre-orders are up on their site. Haven’t tried those yet.

Re: 2023 Shincha Harvest tea recommendations?
I have loved all the 2022 shincha I’ve ordered in the past from thes du Japon. In particular shincha from Hon Yama Tamakawa, yamakai cultivar. I couldn’t stop drinking it for a month straight. If I remember right it was made available in end of may or even June. For Japanese teas I don’t even bother...

Re: Dong ding spring 2020 vs 2022
There’re about 6,000 tea samples enter The Lugu Farmers' Association Dong Ding Oolong Tea Competition each year. 15% of which are awarded “3-blossom”, which translated to about 900 teas. Chances are, even if you buy 2 tins of this 3-blossom prized teas of the same year, you would likely get 2 total...

Yuwen’s 2022 Spring Competition Jin Xuan Dong Ding Oolong Tea, 3 Flower Grade I had this one tucked away since the last time I posted. Whoah what a change!! I had never done this experiment before and besides being a tea drinker for years, I still consider myself novice. So very excited to find out ...

Yes I like Hojo. I have yet to find a tea i didn't like from him. Quality is excellent always.
Anyone heard of tea emporium also? I saw they had some good options.

Re: Darjeeling vendors
I've never ordered from Thunderbolt so I can't make any comparisons, but Lochan has some good to great Darjeelings. I order from them directly, and you might send them an email to see if they'll sell to you. Their Giddapahar and Jungpana offerings have been good in the past. What-Cha also has some ...

Re: Darjeeling vendors
It's been a long time since I've had any Darjeeling, so I don't have any direct experience to help you. However, I recall people talking about Lochan Tea a long time ago. It looks like they no longer sell tea directly online (https://www.lochantea.com), and instead they direct you to a vendor calle...
