Re: Morning Crane Tea

Found a PM on Instagram from a tea friend directing me to Eric Glass's profile, so I left a note requesting my money back there as well. It was promptly deleted. Anyway, I now know the city and state of the money recipient (and likely also of Arthur, if the info on his Linkedin account is current). ...

Re: Morning Crane Tea

I'm personally beyond the denial stage & believe I've been scammed. In my recent emails with Arthur the focus was on dissuading me from using PayPal refunds. Once I told him that they don't work anymore anyway, I got a short message on January 23, confirming that they ("we") will return the money ne...

Re: Morning Crane Tea

No refund, despite final agreement and promise to send it "next week" after "my check arrives", which was 2 weeks ago. It seems I was lied to. Has anyone received tea this year? I wonder how many people reading this forum have ordered and what is the total amount. If it's large enough (a few K), may...

Re: Morning Crane Tea

An update on how my order/refund request is going. On Jan 13, 2026, I requested a refund directly (without involving PayPal) and asked for a confirmation within 7 days. After 9 days, I filed a claim with PayPal but was denied since >180 days had passed. On the same day, I received an email (sent bef...

Re: Morning Crane Tea

The email I got saying teas were packed and ready to ship was in November. Got another one shortly after telling me to ignore the last--since my order was sent too late, in September... except that's not true. It was my request for a status update that was sent in September. My order was from May an...

Re: Morning Crane Tea

Just sent them a second email before I checked here but I had kinda lost hope... until I saw your message. If you got them in February last year, maybe it's going to be like that again? These teas better be good :D.

Edit: just got an email from Arthur, apparently teas are packed and ready to ship.

Re: Morning Crane Tea

Anyone got any news regarding this year's TeaBuy? Is it usual to take this long? I emailed them 7 days ago but didn't get a reply.

Re: Anheituan

Cool, good luck with the project! I've wanted to try one of these ever since I first saw you post about them. What's holding me back at the moment is the size of the exploratory purchase--650g-700g is a lot(~100 sessions worth, right?). That, and knowing how difficult it can be to import from China ...

Re: The Porcelain Thread

Got a new Jingdezhen qinghua (blue and white) pot a few weeks ago, via Superbuy (tmall link: https://detail.tmall.com/item.htm?id=803653142792). studio: Chengdexuan, vol: 100ml (to the brim) The painter doesn't seem as skilled as the one who did the reference pot in the tmall photo (wonky bridge, fl...

Re: Morning Crane Tea

Your post reminded me & I sneaked one in as well. Let's hope it works. What did you get? First time order for me but always wanted to try some. Actually got to drink some in a Korean restaurant in Japan recently but expect these will be much better. I'm most curious about the Mugwort, tbh :D. I got:...

Re: Green Tea

Freezer should be fine as well, as long as the packaging is suitable. Steamed raw tea (after drying, i.e. aracha) can be stored below freezing (& AFAIK often is), and it has twice the water content of usual tea.

Re: Fujian Wuyi Mountain National Nature Reserve Zhengshan Tea Industry Co.

At current rates, many of the products seem priced at the same level as in China. Some, like the JJM Classic, BenSe, and Royal chopped LS are cheaper than the tmall flagship store listings. There are exceptions (like the cheap Tea Ticket DHP being +229.7% over the tmall price). Price comparison JJM ...

Re: Green Tea

I ordered more tea than usual this time of year due to fear of the tariffs...anyways... For intermediate term storage where I want to drink some of the tea now but save some for later: would it be best to portion out the tea I want to save, put it in a vacuum sealed jar and then put it in the refri...

Thanks, seems to match exactly the diff we're talking about. Can't see these promos when accessing through the web (w/o being able to log in). If the resulting $2.7/g is a limited time promo (& excludes int'l shipping and any agent/forwarder fees), that makes $3.1/g (incl. int'l shipping) via offici...
