Re: What White Are You Drinking

White2Tea's Turtle Dove.

I love this tea. Flowers & honey. Wonderful scent and taste. Bought a brick of it.

Only issue I have with it is trying to break the tea brick apart. It is highly compressed.

Re: What are you doing when drinking tea

The reality is I drink tea while doing all sorts of things. Sometimes I only drink tea so I can be more present for it and appreciate the experience. Sometimes this leads me to make it more meditative/ceremonial. Sometimes I use it as a precursor to meditation. I find much more enjoyment when I make...

I haven't really traded before, and my cupboard hasn't been updated/uploaded, but I do have a somewhat dormant steepster account

Re: gaiwan or teapot?

Teapots when I'm lazy (which is most of the time) and gaiwan whenever I want a deeper, more thorough experience.

Though, I do have to say taste-wise, so far I strongly prefer brewing in a gaiwan.

Re: What Green Are You Drinking

Had my first Gyokuro tonight and wow :o this is a whole different world than any other teas I've had before. Such a different color, flavor, and all-around experience. The scent was a bit off-putting at first, but it grew on me. I instantly liked the flavor. "Liquid Seaweed Broth" is my three-word r...

Re: Puerh vendor topic

So far I've had good experiences with Yunnan Sourcing and White2Tea. That said, I'm still semi-new to Puerh. But, I was surprised at how much I liked even the cheapest of YS' offerings, like their shou mini-tuos and inexpensive 100g shou cakes, since I know mini-tuos are notorious for being lower qu...

Re: Vendor review: Riyang Teayard

I'm a sucker for good packaging and I love the design of their packaging and site. That said, it's only worth it if the tea is good, too. Glad to hear it sounds like they are backing up the looks with quality tea. Will have to try some for myself sometime. Though I already own too much tea and not e...

Re: Introduce Yourself

Hello All! How long have you been drinking tea?
I've drank iced tea since I was a kid and tea bags in my teen/college years. In the last 5-6 years I've started to get into loose leaf tea. What kind of tea do you drink? Pretty much all "pure" teas (white, red, puerh, oolong, green, etc). I generally...
