Re: Recommend loose leaf raw puer storage
I'm trying to store several different young sheng samples too. Before, I have stored them in the pouches that they came in but have found a small dab of mold on two different occasions after a couple months. The pouches were kept closed for the most part, with excess air folded out. I don't want thi...

This is disturbing. I like the idea of testing new tea with any remainder one has in stock. I reordered my favorite oolong and the dry leaf smelled different to me. But I brewed it next to the remaining stock I had and it was just as delicious. Thanks for all the info!

It was a gift from my company. I have it set at 130° and that seems plenty hot to me, which surprised me the first time I ...

Re: Are Chinese and Indian teas safe to drink?
"A friend of mine, a tea seller, died of stomach cancer a couple years ago and it prompted me to wonder again about the safety of teas. This person would have been drinking much more tea than the average person, some of it sprayed with pesticides in regions with low/no pesticide application complian...

Re: Introduce Yourself
Greetings all, I'm from the USA. I've been drinking tea a long time but got into whole leaf teas in the past couple years. I'm developing a taste for young sheng puer and find it pretty enchanting. I love teas from most categories, and especially enjoy floral and fruity notes. I drink tea every day ...
