Re: Baokun Sun/孫宝坤

Haven't seen his pots in person, but this style is not uncommon in modern Jingdezhen pottery. With an image search on taobao you can find plenty of options that are on the more affordable side.

Re: The Porcelain Thread

Why not 光造? (disclaimer: I know a lot more about calligraphy than about Japanese pottery marks.) Mainly because I've seen 光達 in listings before, but not 光造. 造 usually comes at the end after a name, which commonly has two kanji. For example pieces with 光達 on the item sometimes have 光達造 on the box. T...

Re: The Porcelain Thread

That sign says 光達. I used to have a teapot from the same person/kiln but unfortunately it seems to be another one of these nebulous Kyoyaki potters with close to no information available online besides a few second hand listings. That being said I also think it's fairly modern.

Re: Japanese teapots and chawans

And an update to the list above as all of the teapots are now gone. Added several new pots and cups. Slowly running out of teapots to put up for sale, I doubt there'll be many more after these. Pictures available at https://ibb.co/album/GnF2TN. Pots: 1. Yamada Sou shudei flat pot with box - ~110ml -...

Re: Japanese teapots and chawans

I've tried finding more information about these online, but it is very scarce unfortunately. There is more information about Mikawachi Yaki - one of my favorite regions for porcelain - here: https://www.mikawachiware.or.jp.

Re: Japanese teapots and chawans

There is not a lot of information about most of these Kyoto potters online, even in Japanese. Found something on Shunpou here: http://shunteian.com/%E5%8F%96%E6%89%B1%E4%BD%9C%E5%93%81%EF%BC%8F%E4%BD%9C%E5%AE%B6/%EF%BC%93%E4%BB%A3%E3%80%80%E4%BA%95%E4%B8%8A%E6%98%A5%E5%B3%B0%EF%BC%88%E3%81%84%E3%81%...

Re: Japanese teapots and chawans

Heian by itself is not a family, it broadly refers to Kyoyaki wares. So the individual families/kilns here would be Shunpou, Shougetsu, Gyokudou, where each likely span several generations. Some like Shunpou and Seisho seem to have more of a presence online/abroad, while a lot of the others don't ma...

Re: Vendors of Japanese porcelain ware (Arita, Hasami) and clay teaware with glaze inside?

Unfortunately what you're looking for is not easy to find at all. Your best bet is either a porcelain hohin or something like that kyusu from Ippodo. Sazen has one without the blue motif and also has a couple of hohins so you could take a look at their store. I rarely see modern flat porcelain kyusu...
