The crack inside does not leak. One photo should show it's about 1cm long.
It leaks in the sense if you don't pour carefully, a lot will come out of the lid hole instead of the spout.
Cost is $30 + shipping yes.

FS: Yixing teapot only its mother could love
Accidentally somehow stumbled onto a teapot. It's shuiping, zhuni. About 100ml. Has the characteristic shrinkage lines. It's ugly. It's definitely fully handmade. How do I know that? Because it's lopsided and has ugly tool marks on the outside. No mold touched this baby. That would be insulting to m...

Re: Yixing
Curious about this question too. I've been looking at pots at auction and those that are old or supposedly old never have this 太阳线 (sunbeams?). Only factory period (maybe) and newer.

Re: Yixing advice
Interestingly I have a porcelain gaiwan that mutes slightly. But it's handmade, might be the reason.

Re: Yixing advice
If the clay is indeed the issue, can anybody recommend places to get sub 90ml teapots made of quality clay for less than ludicrous prices? Like <$300, I can't afford to drop like 1K on a 60s factory 1 pot, as much as I'd like to lol. Thank you all for your help btw! I would stick with porcelain. Ev...

Can't wait to see how it's attached. A piece of metal wrapping a bit of the handle leftover and the wood?

Re: Need storage ideas for 10lb of tea
If the bags are resealable, you can store them in their original bags.
How fast are you going to drink those 10lbs of tea? That will determine whether you are storing for the short term or long term.
Also what tea are they? Different teas can have different storage requirements.

Celebrating with this gem today, and it doesn’t get much better. Perfectly fired, top-grade Di Cao Qing Zini, aged 30 years, from Huang Long Shan #4 mine, 280ml. The versatility of this clay never ceases to amaze me. It went from a pot devoted to Aged Sheng, to All-Star status, and ohh baby does it...

Re: Puerh storage concerns
From chatting with quite a few people who had similar situations as yours, dried out puer will recover if provided sufficient humidity. Be patient, might takes months. If the mylar pouch is sealed, the humidity should only go up until the boveda is drained (if starting humidity is lower). Even ziplo...
