Good for Amazon et al bad for specialised vendors...
you can apply all this, but for the most, it's reputation above all else, especially when specialised/specialized...

Not as touchy what they did in terms of feely... way back when...
But, it is history after all... and their pots are pretty ugly as far as i'm concerned... with exceptions, of course!

Way too young but always good storage potential for these guys. I just checked on a tuo from 1997 and it's still smoky, astringent and rough but bittersweet on the finish and follow thru.... And this is after 10 years hot humid Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia... Also tight as nails, impossible to flake nicel...

Given they took their tea from their colonies and consequent bastardised them it only stands to reason that their pots are the same...

Re: Discount means Failure
Don't overthink it man. Sales and discounts are normal for any business of any sort, especially in this stupid climate... Mainland sales and discounts are dodgy as all hell... So you just need to do the basics well and establish a good reputation... Reputation is everything... Sales can be tiered al...

Re: puerh: to air or not to air?
Stephen I have a cousin in the Bay Area... His solution is to use humidifying packs with his tea cakes stored in Mylar... He drinks mainly aged raw tea with some examples of lightly cooked stuff. Once he's broken stuff up it just sits in the conditioning porcelain/ceramic... Over here it's fairly s...

Re: puerh: to air or not to air?
@Stephen excellent! I'm not familiar with this cooked recipe but anything lightly fermented to me is a good thing! The storage conditions are relatively dry so i think time in ceramic/porcelain/metal should help awaken the tea a bit!

pase22 it's so awesome to finally read that someone is gonna drive to a tea house to try some tea instead of agonising over samples from online vendors! Drive safe, drink well and have a great time, I'm pumped for you! Due to the current situation, I couldn't sit down and try any of their wonderful...
