That roubian poses some questions :?
I appreciate the comment but would you care to voice the questions posed to you by the rou bian?

I will happily correct any issues in the description or dating I may have overlooked. But I cannot do so without knowing where the problem lies.

Re: FS: Three Yixing teapots

In order for your images to post you should attach directly , rather than host on google drive. Thank you Victoria, I was wondering why I was having trouble seeing the actual images. Here is another try, seeing that I can no longer edit the original post. POT #1, 100ml, $200 Shi Fei 史飞行 (b. 1970), ...

FS: Three Yixing teapots

Hey all, I have been cleaning up my tearoom and facing some hard decisions. Consequently, the three pots below are looking to get acquainted with new owners. All are wonderful vessels, lovingly cared for. They will be shipped Priority Mail from Minnesota and I will pick up the price of postage. Plea...

Re: Shipping Delays on tea

For those ordering from Japan or China, my humble recommendation would be to go with DHL. Simply excellent service and tracking. I've received two separate Japanese pots to the US in mere two days. Cakes from Yunnan Sourcing (China) took less than a week. $35-45 might feel expensive but given the pr...

Re: Hagi ware and absorption of colour/odour

My two cents on the topic... I tend to agree with what's been said thus far. I would not worry too much about carrying over flavors due to the typical thickness of Hagi glazes. I can see why one would hesitate with crackle glaze, but you are generally looking at very thin joints that may or may not ...

Re: What is a Shiboridashi, Hohin, Gaiwan?

A well crafted Japanese shiboridashi is a unique vessel and definitely worth the experience. Like others have stated, it has a significant edge with teas requiring low brewing temperature. The mechanics of pouring and filling are different enough to set it apart from other vessels as well. One thing...

Re: Teas We Like : By and for Tea Lovers

I agree with Victoria - an archive of sold pots would be quite valuable. Especially considering the care you took with the photography and dating. I for one would much appreciate the resource (and would probably spend even more time on your site than I already do)

Re: Chris at Verdant

May I chip in as my first post on this forum? Couldn't think of a more fitting topic. Chris & the Verdant folks are absolutely fantastic and I could go on and on about every aspect of their business. What a blessing to have such people as part of our community here in Minnesota. I have ordered their...
