Thanks to all for the insight. As to the question of roasting, there is little evidence in the flavor of heavy roasting. I found some pretty old Sea Dyke TGY at my local market. It has distinctive aged oolong character of vanilla/leather/tobacco, woody, with some cooling sensation. Compared to the many aged oolongs that I have enjoyed, I would say it is pretty damn good, but not exceptional. I found a similar package ...
