Qingshuini for yancha that fancy? I thought that was well into "hongni or zhuni only" territory. Interesting, might have to give my own qingshuini pot a run with some nicer yancha...

Workhorse pot for workhorse tea too And yes definitely, anything fancy goes in hongni. Though lately, everything just goes in hongni.

My pot was cheap with a replacement lid from Emmett, it's definitely a workhorse. Lid fit is obviously kind of wonky but it works well in the right position. A good yancha pot for splitting 8g bags in half, since it's only 60ml.

steanze What about Zini from this era? Zini from the 90s is hit or miss, need to evaluate case by case. From the 80s is better. From green label or earlier even better. The best F1 zini imo is the 60s-early 70s jiazini, but it is not very cheap... There is also good post 2000s zini, it just becomes...

Ah sorry, the first 3 images didn't upload properly. I actually pm Dr. Lu with images of the pot, and he ID'd it as late 50s from when F1 just started up based on the lid inscription.

Would anyone be able to ID this pot? I got it from my grandma who told me her father got it when she was 12 (placing it at around 1954).
