Re: Water Water Everywhere... What’s Your Water?

Personally, I have come to like Mountain Valley 🏔 It's definitely thiiiiIccckk!! 💦 💦 💦 Great info and resources Victoria! I used to like thick water (250 TDS) but now prefer thinner waters (40-55 TDS) as they have more élan and don’t create the problem of tone on tone when drinking teas with a lot ...

Re: What Oolong Are You Drinking

Having some fresh 2020 TieGuanYin.... tonight’s match is none other than 80s DCQ blended with ZiNi. Results are as expected. Long lasting fragrance and pronounced upper nuances. Mouthfeel and chayun is strong and lasting. Cheers!! ./download/file.php?id=6223 ./download/file.php?id=6222 😍 💚 😍 💚 Love...

Re: Help with long dan shaped teapot

TeaTotaling How does it perform? I don't have personal experience with it. Seeing a picture of your Long Dan reminded me of this guy. It's a Late Qing/Early Republic Zhuni, so I imagine the clay performs quite nicely. The workmanship looks very refined for this period. It's definitely a collectors ...

Re: What Pu'er Are You Drinking

StoneLadle They were recently discussed in an article about "beautiful tea" 😂 🤣 🙃 I just checked it and the price is not bad. Do you have pictures of your cake? Would be curious to take a look before I order. Will also get a Malaysian stored example and try to get my hands on a HKG one. This gonna ...

Re: What Pu'er Are You Drinking

TeaTotaling Did you know Wu De was from your state? I like most Taiwanese oolong I purchased from GTH, but maybe Bok can get us better stuff ;) I did! Aaron Fisher is an Ohio boy :) The Oolong's I have had from them have all been good. I don't think they are spectacular, but definitely solid ...

Re: What Pu'er Are You Drinking

Spiritual stuff aside, it appears that a lot of people like GTH teas. The prices seem much lower than other vendors though. Are they legit as an honest tea seller? TeaTotaling Do you have any good experience with their other teas sir? I told myself not to buy anymore teas, but their website about t...

Re: What Pu'er Are You Drinking

There is certainly better heat retention. For aged Sheng Puerh, I find a larger pot produces a better brew than a smaller pot with similar ratios. I really like pots in the 250ml - 300ml range. While I don't always want this much tea, the session is much more satisfying. TeaTotaling I’m stating to ...

Depending on the tea type, I very much enjoy a larger teapot. Full force 🚀
That's the spirit!

I think this gonna get me hunting for this tea...

For its age it seems interesting and developing well...
Let the games begin!

Re: What Pu'er Are You Drinking

TeaTotaling Does the larger pot produce a better brew than a smaller one with similar ratios? I at least find larger pots to work much better with heicha no matter the ratio. And wow.... 15g of pu-erh!!! I can't handle that much  There is certainly better heat retention. For aged Sheng Puerh, ...
