It's Friday and my desk is still out of yancha. I got out my 2017 danzhu from Farmer-Leaf. I'm always happy to drink this tea. It has nice character, good sweetness and leaves you feeling fresh.

Looks good! You've got me thinking I should travel more. Its been a while since I've needed to pack a tea set. Last summer I did some camping and brought a small travel set in a zipper bag.
I'm a big fan of using an electric induction cooker with a normal metal kettle. I feel it separates the responsibilities well. There should be no reason to throw out a kettle just because some electronics break. I also enjoy having a selection of lighter and better designed kettles.
In Fujian sometimes people will add sugar (If I remember correctly, at about a 1% by weight of wet leaves) during the processing. Having some zhengyan huang pian. I found them in my desk drawer, and though I would try them again. They give me some of the feeling of young puer mixed with the familiar wuyishan flavors.
