Drinking organic first flush from Mauna Kea Tea. Spring comes early in the tropical island of Hawaii. When you have great tea and good water, who really needs the fancy hardwares? One of the best green teas I have ever tasted and it comes from the land of the free.
Happy new year my tea friends.

Re: Moldy Pu'erh!!!
Correction to the above statement using the calculator. At 65% RH, the only temp where there is risk of mold is at 82F but it will take 1186 days for mold to form.

Antique teacup set need help identifying
I visited my mother tonight. We were talking about teas and she showed me a tea cup set bought by my father in an antique store in the 1950’s. I don’t know anything about them. My mother told me to use them but I’m afraid. Those black lines at the rim look like lead. Anyway, can anyone share what th...

Re: Tetsubin
I think I'm the only one who think Tetsubin is so overrated. It caused all my teas to taste less sweet :( you got the wrong tetsubin, or tetsubin/water combination. You may be right Bok since I am the only one who is noticing this. On a slightly different topic, I remember vaguely reading somewhere...

Re: Teashops...
Very nice sir! I have to visit Malaysia when the Covid thing is over.
One of the pictures showed cakes wrapped in plastic. Why did they do that? Is this "dry Malaysian" storage"?

YeeOnTeaCo I didn't mean to sound so negative. It just that my expectation was different. I am pretty sure people who like full fermented ripe will certainly enjoy this tea. I tried your "2001 Raw Yi Wu Wild Spring Tea" this morning and it was very good. Thank you. StoneLadle I know you know your t...

Re: What Pu'er Are You Drinking
I tasted my first 7581 ripe puer today. It was a sample from Yee On Tea. I read so much about ripe puer made before 2000 having much lighter fermentation so I was excited to try the tea. Unfortunately, this tea was a major disappointment. I could still taste the Wo Dui :( Too much fermentation for m...

vuanguyen cool. What climate do you live in? I live in San Jose, California (Zones 9b). Re: What Oolong Are You Drinking
Drinking Oolong from home. When I made this Oolong 6 month ago, I was so disappointed with my tea making skill. It tasted like a Sheng Puer than a Taiwanese Oolong. Now, 6 month later, this tea body is much thicker and the taste is sweeter with a silky touch of tannin yet still has the freshness fra...

If you want to use the 10% discount, make sure you order it in Hong Kong dollar and not in your home currency. YeeOnTeaCo: "We still have warehouses with "Tradition HK" storage in the most traditional sense for clients who still prefer it." - Are any of these teas available on your site? If so, cou...
