Re: PuLogger - Cheap DIY monitoring and control for pumidors.

This is so bad ass. One day, I hope to find some time to learn basic coding. I would definitely set this up. Thank for sharing, Atlas!!! Tyvm! Arduinos are a great way to get started imo - sing out if you ever want any help navigating the available options/approaches. It's worth noting that I've re...

young sheng has been consistently frustrating - I've kept well within appropriate parameters and my tea is still going awry.
What is happening currently, and how does this differ from what you are attempting to achieve?

Additionally, how do you imagine your two ideas would improve the situation?

Re: Whole room humidifiers for storing puerh?

Evaporative humidifiers with a bacteriostatic solution are probably your best bet. If your water isn't too hard you shouldn't be replacing filters more than once every 3-6 months. Honeywell makes a good one. The bottle of bacstat will last you ages. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00FJTVHKO/ref=o...

Re: Accelerated seasoning success

"Mold's hypae (root structures) actually grow into wood and drywall like roots. The hyphae are not killed by bleach because bleach's ion structure prevents chlorine from penetrating into porous materials such as drywall and wood. It stays on the outside surface, whereas mold has protected enzyme ro...

bleach won’t penetrate porous surfaces, only the water penetrates, while chlorine stays on surface
Unless there's something very weird and specific going on related to pore size of clay I'm not aware of, this is not the case.

The 2007 Shou Mei White Cake from Fuding that Adrian shared with us was really good. Am tempted to join this group buy  Love your writing style Atlas. Tyty, you're very kind. Best jump in if you're interested, apps are filling fast (which shouldn't surprise me at this point, yet here I am, s...

Two Taobao GBs in planning stages - Early-00s Green Marks and aged white teas (separate buys).

Usual rules apply, see the following blogpost for details and to register interest in either/both. https://deadleaves.club/2018/10/27/gb6-7-pretty-little-luers-aged-white-teas/ At the moment, it is likely that the Green Mark buy will launch with a 60USD share price (and possibly a couple of half-sha...

Atlas any updates? is it full?
Nope, we're about 2/3 funded so far.

If the form's taking submissions, there's still slots available (unless people blast it while I'm asleep).
